The first people who migrated here were called the Marquesas.
They sailed in their canoes in 750 AD, from the Pacific. They
had a curios reason for settling there. Every time when their
birds went to that direction, they used to come back fatter.
As a consequence, Marquesas started traveling to their new found

plants and their best hunters. For hundreds of years they built

During this year the monarchy was overturned and in 1894

to the United States and made territory in 1900, as the fifth
state in the U.S.
